Our volunteers are part of our dedicated and committed team. The young men and women who volunteer with us are undergraduates that are passionate, mission-driven, dedicated and reliable. They are team players and work well with other volunteers, staff, and stakeholders.
They understand the importance of collaboration and are willing to mentor new volunteers or work in teams to achieve common goals. Typically, after graduation from tertiary institutions, volunteers age out from being active volunteers, even though they can support the organization in other ways.
We are pleased to celebrate with three of our dedicated volunteers who are graduating or have graduated from institutions of higher learning and are officially aging out as volunteers. They are: Aliyu Yahaya, Jude Micah and Victor Eromosele.
VCI is been blessed with about 25 volunteers in Minna and Bida. The organization has been supportive of our dedicated volunteers, and make their welfare our priority. VCI has so far assisted all of our volunteers with educational assistance grants, small business grants or basic allowances to the tune of N1,021,700. (One Million, Twenty-One Thousand, and Seven Hundred Naira). We held a brief outing ceremony to appreciate Aliyu, Jude and Victor, our outgoing volunteers. They each received certificates of appreciation and N20,000 each. Even though they are no longer officially volunteers, they are still part of the VCI family.
Thank you, guys, we truly appreciate you all.
